Yes. Victoria is the oldest. She has a little sister now, and Victoria is acting as her teacher and mentor. Adriana is going to destroy the curve when she enters school. I watched her find a video of herself on her daddy's cell phone, play it, stop it, scroll back to the part she likes, and watch it again. She sounding out words (they read to her every night), and her vocabulary is growing every day. The dog seems to understand everything she says, but I often have to ask Victoria to translate.

Sorry, I was checking Amazon and Kohls for online "deals" before logging in over here.

That is wonderful! It is amazing what a child can do when given the chance. My oldest always had to translate for anyone that was talking to his little brother.

Are you ready to go back to school?? I know I am not ready to go back to work. This seems to be the final push to get all my shopping done.

I have started checking on Amazon for almost any non-clothing item I see in an ad and have had good luck matching prices - with free shipping and no tax.

Kohls is mostly clothing - the online code to get an extra 15% off is THXGIVING15

I also browsed Tractor Supply and will probably stop at Lumber 2 on my way to Prague this morning, for 20% off Carhartt clothing. Hubby needs new bib overalls.

Thanks that is good to know, if I could figure out how to do all my shopping online I would be a happy person, I don't like to shop & the wonderfully hateful people that you run into during what is suppose to be the happiest season really try my restraint.

I avoid malls like the plague. If I can't get it online or in a strip mall, the need has to be huge before I will venture to the mall - and I will try to get one of my sons to get it for me first before I set foot inside a mall.

The atmosphere to check out yesterday at Kohls before the registers stopped giving the early bird special was actually very jovial. The lines to check out were almost to the back of the store, but the lady behind me offered to let me place some of my selections on top of her cart so that I wouldnt drop anything and the cart in front of me had a sleeping grandchild who fell asleep in Target and they just brought her into Kohls in the Target buggy. I wasn't trying to elbow anyone to get the "last" of the sale items, so it was alright.

I didn't go out until 7 so all the pushing & shoving was over with by the time I got there. There wasn't anything that I felt the need to get up at 5am for.

I hope today is just as good.
