You are welcome anytime. Everything here is still a work in progress. We know what we want just takes time to get the money up. I try to build for the birds with money I get from selling the birds. It works pretty well. So far I have 7 A frame pens we built this year. But we have alot more to go. I will be build the A frame for the largefowl as well just in bigger proportions. And we will make pen dollies. We move our pens weekly to keep them on fresh ground. they move 4 times in a big square so they always stay on they ground only they have been on. It has cut down on soooo many problems.

All of my pen's are either totally enclosed or partly closed, with window's and plenty of air vent's. It works well when the weather kicks up it's heals and makes caring for them a breeze.

I always knew I would need to expand at different stages so I started out by building the pen's so any addition regardless of size can just be added right on the excisting blg, in a fast easy secure way.

When you come back I would like to hear about keeping them on ground only they have been on. At some point dont they move on then a new set is there?

AL I had seen you coop before, I love the set up but it is sometimes hard to understand in pictures but with three views I can figure it out alittle better.

What are the small pens on the outside there?

I use that small hutch for several different thing's, at the time of the photo I had some Texas A&M Quail in them. Sometimes it serves as a hospital coop, a quarentine pen, a fair weather grow out pen, and sometimes a breeding pen. Right now it's empty.

LOL I had that kind of a pen too for a while now they have breeding pairs in them.
