That would me if it was aluminum, we make and sell boxes and feeders

Is that the fancy carring boxes that were all metal & you had them in colors?????

Wait, what is this? Website to look?

Hi, Les. Glad you're doing better. I second P&Bs suggestion if you have the chance. If my birds are laying at all, they're hiding them well. Might as well worm them now.

I'll have to think about my lighting. Thanks for the info asheter.

I'm sure she will be glad to give him a hand. I don't know that we are ready really. We never get anything done ahead of time these days. I know she has talked about what she is going to bring but I never know till they are loaded in the truck. She will spend all her time after school till bed time getting them all ready. I am trying to talk her into taking a polish, it's nothing special but she usually stays away from standards & I would like to see her work with them more since she has been helping others show them.

You need to come around more!! We have been having a good discussion on different things. Today the topic seems to be light.

My Question: Does everyone add light in the winter? Do your birds ever get a break from laying?

As for my coop, I don't add light except in one it has a small 25wt bulb but it is more for me to be able to see to get eggs than for the bird.

Lets here some thoughts.

Michael are you related to the man named Daugherty that is a famous archery guy?
I think his name was Jack or Jim. I'll have to look him up. I think he was from around Tulsa or Muskogee.

Sooner - I add light all year round...I don't think it helps with my laying but it sure helps me not run into stuff! Part of my set-up would never get much light and where I have the guinea pigs really needs it so i have lights...mine take regular breaks from laying...like whenever i really want some eggs!
