See that would bother me.... Our oldest girls is Carl's from his first marriage. He was alway so busy trying to make it up to her that he wasnt with her all the time that he gave her anything she wanted. We fought about that for years, until she got to about 16 and then she would just stick out her hand. He finally came to me one day and said she is going thru too much a week in gas and eating out. I said dont look at me. He finally understands you cant give them everything.

What breed of chickens are you looking for? Unless you are looking for something out of the ordinary - like show quality or an "exotic" breed, I think you will be able to find them for less than $25 per pair.

We only had four eggs today. One Ameraucanas, one production red, one Speckled Sussex, and one banti egg. I see the hens sitting in the nests, but I think they are just there to warm their feet
