Monty : You didn't miss too much but there is a highlight, as you know Lil' Sooner is now amoung us and we are all doing our best to add to her aquisitions, much to the shigrin of her MOM. Momma Sooner may end up chasing us all around with a rolling pin in her hand.

P&B gave a lesson on bee's for all & Greybear posted some great stuff on planting hay & crops for critters.

Charley I got the birds all setttled in here. They gave me four eggs while we were at my folks house.
I am gonna have to get them in a different place later but they are good for now.
I enjoyed our visit. I really like your breeding pens. I need to get mine set up like that. The ones I have built are bigger but when I redo everything I am gonna go a little smaller. Kinda like yours which seem to be just about right.
I wish i could have taken the little red roo but I am kinda maxed out on places to put stuff. At least places to keep breeds separate.
When I got home I found I had a few birds with the "Snarkies" (who came up with that term on here anyway?) so I added some antibiotics to their water. Sure would like to see a nice warm spell for oh about two months or so.

Pepper you should post pic's of your set up. Several of us are planning to either expand or rebuild. I am one for sure. I had planed to have a laying flock & some pretty birds but now have show birds & several breeding pens & coops.
