So Mike is taking possesion LOL, they must be good prospects for his program. you should try your hand at vent sexing today while they are still very very young, and band their feet with zip ties and see how well you guessed in a few months. If you give your hen some high protein feed & corn for fat and get her weight and health back up shortly she may lapse back into broodiness, with some seperation and well placed eggs.

It is pouring down around here north of Stillwater, a little pea sized hail, but nothing bad, dang my garden was almost dry with all that wind Al sent us!!!! Glad I did not put the little pullets out into the laying house today, will wait till tomarrow and some warmer weather, Lynn

The storm just past us, and we got some rain & some good pea sized hail. it looked pretty cool with the low clouds, and as usual they were calling it severe and it was nothing really just the same o same o.

We should have our own weather section here on the forum in our thread, and we could track things as they get close to our members areas. what do you think???.

We have a Canadian Doc here...but he is leaving

He actually runs on time! He figures you have an appointment and he doesn't like to wait at them so figures his patients are busy people so he sticks to his schedule!

How can you trust someone that obviously has issues with food

...it is there it needs to get eaten...eat it!

Back to my Canadian Doc...well he is skinny

no wonder he is going back...quitter...anyways...he told my buddy...another skinny person that moved out on me

...anyways...told him his cholesterol was too low and he was under weight and that he should eat large bowls of ice cream after every meal...maybe two bowls and lots or red meat and fried food...being that I am a buddy and have the same doctor...I did what any good fat guy would do...I ate ice cream with my buddy and lots of red meat...some of it chicken fried! With taters and okra and squash!

Al,

Yes, they're white rocks. I keep a few white call ducks, but the only chickens I keep are white rocks. Heck, it's all I can do to concentrate on that one breed.

Oh, I have some Dorking eggs coming in May. I guess I'll see how that hatch goes.
