I was gonna buy you a pair of red suspenders and some white pants.
But they didn't have any at the auction that I didn't get to go to!
I'll try and do better the next time I am not there!

Thanks I think!

I was looking at an Oklahoma travel magizine today and I saw Hardesty listed as a place to visit.
Its focal point was Lake Optima which has wildlife viewing and low lake levels.
I am thinking that if low lake levels are a big attraction then
a horde of tourists are gonna be
overrunning you pretty soon!

Not the tourism rush again! That gets so annoying. They flock into all the stores crowding out the locals...they dress so wierd...they want to know how often we have indian attacks and when do we go shoot the buffalo...they are so annoying.

When we have a position at school it is really bad cuz folks will just apply and not look at where it is...then we call...and they ask where is that...then,,oh...then they don't come visit...or they come and bring a fishing pole...then they leave...

Had a quick but enjoyable KC visit with both my sons, their wives, their adult children, and the two great granddaughters. Only missing were daughter, SIL, and grandson who live here, but we see them fairly often. Also not there was SILs daughter who doesn't live with them, but is a very nice teenager we also claim as granddaughter.

Picked up only the three silkies I'd discussed witht he breeder. The only others she had that I wanted for myself or others weren't for sale. I tried.

Sounds like a "mixed blessing" since you were a little worried about cage space and being tempted with more than you really wanted and/or needed.

Definitely didn't need any more, but was a bit disappointed for the couple of people here who said to remember them. However, I should be bringing a fair number to POOPS. I just hope it isn't scheduled for May 7, as that is when our granddaughter in KC is graduating from college. The first grandchild (and maybe the only one) who will graduate from college. Very proud of her, and will definitely be there.
