Man this wind is killin my egg production, I need to send out some eggs on monday, hope I have enough to send, Luvs, will have to see how these hatch out first, the RIRxDelaware should be interesting and laying fools, my Delawares lay like crazy. My wife was here when my eggs came, she says those better be something we don't already have!!! She seems to think I have too many chickens already!?!?!?!? I think she should stay out of the back yard myself! anyways I have to be a little more cautious on the gg hatching think, she may have a fit when I get the incubator set up! Oh well, it is warmin up out in the barn soon I hope, I may be sleepin there!!!!! Son just come in and said he thinks the sows water broke, may have piggys to snuggle with to keep me warm!!! Lynn

hey Im a preachers daughter so Im coming too....

I want to bring stuff... What's up with drinks ? Everyone bringing their own ?I could also bring loads of cookies...home made and sams club made....
I have black giants and would LOVE to find some polish.....

Hey buckguy, did you see the pic of my Welsummers that I posted a while ago. They sure are a beautiful bunch. They just don't lay enough for me and they don't like my treats

They are totally stuck up chickens. They think they are better than everyone else including us humans. LOL. Boy one just started her laying cycle and she is throwing some big dark eggs, just not often enough for me.

Can anyone tell me about the blue Orps? Do they lay daily and are they good broodies? How about food consumption? The great thing about the Wellies they don't eat as much as the EE's do.

I think he already knows i have lost my mind on this.

My third batch of eggs came today. The rural mail carrier wouldn't leave them so I have to go to the post office tomorrow. Any other time they would of put it in a bag and left it hanging on the box.

I dunno, my hen is broody, she stopped laying two days ago, which bites cause I was going to sell her for being noisy, but now she's not producing!! I tried keeping her out of the coop for a few hours, that didn't work, even took away the fake egg that I had hid and she put forth great effort to get out and sit on yesterday. So hubby says he wants to put something under her.
