TJ's Na Na may know what hatchery they come from, they are not local birds. Byrdluv you should reserve the 10 splash silkies they have ordered, cant remember what date they are coming in but it would stop me from grabbing them up! Think they around 2$ a pop.

Carla, I hope Gerald starts to feel better soon..it took me more than a week to start feeling like a human again, and I'm still working with head congestion...thank God no fever or sore throat anymore.

Abby has started coughing today...hopefully she'll just have a weekend allergy thing instead of this stinkin virus that is going around...I hate when my kids are sick. I don't want to have to be nursing her for 2 weeks now....

We haven't had any rain today at all...we had a ton day before yesterday and then a bit yesterday, but it was just overcast and humid today. I'd like to be able to get some yard work done tomorrow and my little garden planted.

Teach, those quail grow like wildfire!! The coturnix are already as big if not bigger than the buttons....the one you said was "tuxedo" is very pretty!! They are all doing well now and keeping us entertained in a 10 gallon aquarium in the living room for now...along with the silkie chick from Carla...it cracks me up how they can all get along right now....a week from Monday my eggs are due to hatch and then I can put the silkie in with them so it won't be lonely.

I'm heading to bed, ya'll...gonna sleep in past 7am tomorrow!! woo hoo!

GOOOD MORNING OKIES! Its 5:22 am, im fixin to head out the door and can hear the thunder rolling. I like working in the store when its raining, seems the place is calmer, even if its just as busy. Hope everyone has a great weekend, be back on after 3.

So sorry to hear about all the car accidents, the loss of lives and surgery's. I know about them kids and driving cars. I spent many a sleepless night when my 4 daughters started driving.

We are planning on going to Cement tonight, well maybe, if this rain does not let up we wont. Just do not have any more extra tarps to cover the chickens up in the truck.

Lynn, my husband is really getting into the birds now. We MOVED them chicks outside he has them all covered up and cozy.

Carah one of them chicks you gave me is meaner than ever, not sure which was yours or which was the lady you picked them up from. Its the white one. He is fixing to be put in with the big roos to be taught a lesson. He keeps picking on the other chicks. Yes you must get some of nana and papa's cochins, they are just beautiful birds. Mr B, is now becoming a bit more friendlier.

Mornin' all. Kinda damp outside, so the birds are gonna have to fend for themselves. I let them out and now they're hunkered up under the shed, lookin out like they're waiting for me to come and take their orders. Ain't happenin'.

He is a little booger for sure. When the rains quit we are going to see what we can do to put him up. He is to small to let free range during the day, the hawks would for sure grab him up.

Good Morning

Looks like we are in for another wet weekend..... My place is like a swamp but not as bad as some. I need to get something to cover the feeders. I have them under plywood but I guess the rain blows into them. I am getting tired of dumping wet feed.
