Hi all - hope everyone is doing well this morning and healing quickly and thoroughly from all your bites/accidents/fights with chairs, etc.

Stimpy - I have been arguing loudly with myself about getting Silkies. I don't need them. What good are they? And they're funny looking. They'll just be one more thing for me to take care of - it will be months before I can introduce them into the LF flock. Meanwhile I'll have to find a place for them. They will be yet another excuse for me to avoid working, which I do too well already. So, I've about talked myself into getting three. Where do I go to pick them up?

Hey Kerry - I'm supposed to be researching and writing. I'm way behind and starting to get scared - deadline is coming up and I haven't even started. But it's more fun to talk to you. What are you up to today?

Typing - read and outline the chapter - that's what I"m doing now - then go back and fill in the info in video script format - along with suggestions for visuals. I guess I'd better get to it...blech.

Yay for Beth!

Yup STUBBORN is his middle name. He did take the benadryl so that is a good thing. He might get frustrated about not being able to do anything and cave in. It is pretty swollen, he is getting a bit worried about infection he just wanted the antibiotic cream. He has been flushing it with peroxide also. It is still draining so that HAS to be a good thing.

Monty not a big deal at all, your busy. If you are bringing extra chicks over the only bad deal is on your part, you are feeding them. If so I can throw in some feed if ya need it.

Oh I so DO NOT need any silkies at all. I am with Beth, I have NO need for them.

I hear more chirping............Come on Andies come on out I want to see you. Still Rebecca's chicks that are hatching. Something about them BYS chicks, they are ALWAYS the 1st to hatch. This is sure gonna be fun to get that top part of the brooder into the house all by myself. May need to call Carl and Steph to come help.

We will see wont need to do anything till tomorrow and I might just engineer something up for temp.

Luvs, glad the hubby is doing OK.... Jeez, they can age ya....

I just went out and cleaned chickens... the pollacks follow me around. It is hilarious... everywhere I go I hear peeping and little feet and I look and the 80's hair band is right behind me... They are a scream....

Hennies I was thinking the same thing actualy, hopefuly i never get reason to try to outdo him on this one:cool:

Everyone should have a few bantams. My RIR roo got out of his pen today and my Buff brahma bantam that fallows me around held his own against him before i could get them caught and seperated. The rir may of had alot of size on him, but that durn brahma was quick as a snake

Nope, I'm not going to this one in OKC - but if there's no one from my area going, I am happy to come pick them up or meet somewhere.
