Allright! Well, I hope we get to meet you in Shawnee next week! It is really fun to put a face to a name ... or at least a screen name! This forum is a great place to meet others that have similar interests. None of my family loves the critters like I do and the same goes for Gerald. This is a great place to meet new friends!

We will be going, we are just not sure how long we will be able to stay..as it's almost a 3 hour drive..What time does everything get started? we think we will leave here at about 6AM or there about..

Henny,

If she can find a branch that will accept him, he'll get one chance and only one chance. If he screws up in the military then he's out with a bad discharge. That means no right to vote, no job with any company that has government contracts and certainly no veterans benefits.

If you have a drug problem, the last place you want to find yourself is in the military. You will find absolutely zero sympathy for your problems. If the guys around you don't feel that they can trust you with their lives, you won't last as long as a fart in a whirlwind.

There are those of us who care about our services and feel that if you're not good enough for jail, we sure don't want you. Grow up first and fix whatever personal problems you have and then go see a recruiter. Until then, please stay away from my beloved Corps.

Yeah Stimpster, I was thinking that too. The last thing ya want in the trenches with ya is someone ya can't depend on. This kid actually sucked it up and went to court and told the truth about stuff. He didn't have to go to jail, and is actually doing really well now. I hope he stays that way. He is a great kid and has had some rough times. I'd probably be on drugs too... his dad left my sister for some other chick when my sis was in the hospital having him. My sis wasn't the most stable person after that... so he saw a lot of stuff. But it seems like it all worked for good and they are doing great now. Your Corps is safe!

Jeez is anyone else getting this stinkin' wind... Haven't even let hennies out... I know they will get blown all over the place!

I know we have it up north. And I debated whether to let them out today. They were a little hesitant on coming out, but now they are doing as they always do. Amazing! Every time I go out I freeze and run to the car or to the house....BRRRR

Hey taz...

Believe it or not, mine are out doing their usual too. I can imagine up there you are way colder than us.

Henny,

I'm glad your nephew is getting clean. Once he has it all out of his system, I would reccommend the service as a career. If he thinks he can run with the big dogs, tell him to come visit a Marine recruiter.

Heh heh heh Stimp... I love ya... thanks for caring... but the Corps would kill that poor boy. He would never know what hit him...lol...just the thought...lol...heh heh heh....yeah.

I'm still laughing... Remember in Heartbreak Ridge where Gunny Highway says, "The Marines are looking for a few good men... and you ain't it." Lol... heh heh heh... that boy would RUN back to his Mama crying...heh heh heh...yeah.
