Those that are traveling a ways maybe could do paper and plastic ware.

Breads and chips. There will be a Loves right at the exit off I-40 to get

ice and such if needed. There is a WalMart just about 15 miles from this

exit on I40 in Shawnee. There is also a Walmart off I-240 and I-40 from

the west in OKC.

OMG I sure hope not..............I did the unthinkable this past week. Planted things (flowering plants) that CAN NOT take the cold. I guess that was wishful thinking. I guess water and then cover is in my future.

One thing about Oklahoma weather is for certain - it is likely to change. Ironically, even though the forecast is for snow on Friday, the day time temperature is supposed to stay in the low 40s. You may need to cover your plants on Friday night, but by Saturday afternoon it is supposed to stay above freezing for the weekend.

What I like best about Oklahoma is the way the weather changes more than once - often within the same day. I had to laugh when I read Carla's description of Oklahoma. It is NOT unusual to need the A/C and the heater on the same day.

It is SOOOOOOO windy here in the NE corner that I almost missed Quapaw and ended up in Kansas!!

Yep! Glad I had my foot on the brake!
The Quapaw cop would have picked me up for speeding too. He sits at the school intersection and waits on people to come through going a "little" to fast.
Besides Dallas' Dairyette and Hemi's Cafe the Quapaw cop is the onlt bussiness in town

No Joke!! As long as the wind is not blowing 423 mph I can handle just about any kind of weather.
I just heard thunder, I guess we are going to be getting some rain.​
