Sooner - LOL Well, the first thing he does....LOL....is takes
him a Murry-McMurry catalog and ..............LOL..........

Seriously, it's a process....but not that big a deal.........
and TJ just calls it "gathering the fertilizer". This KID has
helped Pa-Pa do autopsys on goats to see what happened
to her........on and on. I figure he might end up being a
Vet before it's over.

I figure he'll either keep us young.........or kill us.............LOL

Well on this board we are all like family bothers and sisters with different mothers.. we will have games, a chicken and suppliers sell and swap, great food. and lots to drink (NON Alcohol)
we will have lots of Fun, Please come with your Daughter.. the more the merrier

OMG! One of my broody silkies got slimed! Like by a snake slimed! I noticed her setting outside the box yesterday and goosed her and she jumped back in the box. Didn't think anything about it till today when I put feed and water in her coup. The whole front of her topknot was all plasterd down on her head! Then it clicked-I had just checked the nest box in the coup below her and the eggs I had left for the hen to go broody on were gone! I guess he ate them then went up and found the hen and tried to swallow her! Problem is I haven't found the snake yet. Ther are baby chicks and pigeons in this same coup complex! Worry,Worry!This ain't no April Fools either. Never had a snake problem this early in the year.

It;s 4/25/09 and most of our members are NPIP tested already, and the ones that are not, we are trying to get a tester to be on hand.
