I am up, been up for a while. Went to candle some eggs yesterday and dropped the mag light, very big one, on my foot. I saved the ceramic tile and the flashlight but now I have a broken toe. The long toe next to the big toe. OUCH it hurts.

Yea it is broke right on the joint part. Hubby the kind person he is, wanted to try and set it by pulling on it. He asked me this while I was using a steak knife to cut up my dinner. I just looked at him. Got a giggle out of the grandson and PaPa.

Your LB is very pretty, I have just a lone LB girl. Wonder what a LB cross RIR would look like. She was the one that insisted on lying her eggs 1/4 mile from the coop. Now she is on strike!!!!!!!!!! As are all of my birds.

Does Oklahoma have certain laws as to labeling for selling of eating eggs. I doubt I will be selling at any markets, just from the house.

Right now I just sell to friends and family ( you bet I make family pay,well except my daughter who is pregnant and is taking care of my grandson) but was thinking of putting up a sign at the local stores out here.

Ouch Luvs! Sorry - I didn't read about your toe! Is it swollen and black? If so, it's probably broken - but unless it's dislocated and turned crooked there's not a lot to be done. I suggest taping it to the next little toe - not your big toe - to keep it in place. Take some ibruprofen (if your doctor allows it) to help keep swelling down. Oww Oww owww!!
