When I had chickens before, I had a pyr and he ran with my geese and chickens and I had very little trouble with him. I lost a few at first but I think that he was just trying to play with them. After he died, I slowly lost everything to the predators. I need to get me another one.

Well, it's day 16....2 more days until I stop turning the chicken eggs and up the humidity....should I plug the little vent on top then to help get the humidity up?? I've thrown in an extra sponge with water to try and get it back up..it's dropped to 25% today for some reason....and I know I"ve got to get it up much higher after day 18...what's the range I'm aiming for on Wednesday through Saturday??? OH, yeah, I'm supposed to go camping with my parents on Friday night...do you think I can get away with plugging the incubator into an inverter in the van and taking them with me??

Y'all who are praying types.... could ya send up one for me tomorrow.... I probably have to put one of my dachshunds down. This is the first time in my life I feel like I will go crazy if I have to. He is very special, his name is Roger and he protects me when hubby is not here. I do not know what I will do without him. We be buds..... I also have his sister and worry about her, as they have never been separated. My heart is broken...

G' morning everyone. Up getting the girls ready for school and then getting myself ready for work. It's mighty cold out there this morning...makes me want to crawl back into bed under the nice warm covers.....sigh. Hope everyone has a fantastic day.

I hope you have a peaceful day henny, and if its his last our thing has always been to take the pup to McD and get some burgers (whether or not they are strong enough to eat it) and spend the day holding them before going to the vet. Its never easy, but hopefully you can have a good last day with him.

I had to put down one of them when I was a little guy. Cried forever! I am not one that will spend thousands keeping an animal alive but I sure cry when I loose a dog. My ol' lab is gonna break my heart when he goes. Hang in there...you have his memories

I am giving tests all day again!!! My wife loves these days! I irritate her!

Teach........ I use to raise rollers in the late 70's and just loved to watch them fly. They would drop 50 - 75 ft and had a few that hit the ground and died. I just don't have the time for them anymore.
