Thanks for the info. I didn't read through the whole post, and being new to the forum, just did a search. Do you have any idea how many references to 'POOPS' there are on this forum?

POOPS sounds like a blast, just 2 months too early for me. Family reunion is Father's Day weekend in Chickasha, but I hope that you all have a great time. The Blanchard auction sounds interesting too, do they do one often? When we lived in OK my wife and I always enjoyed going to estate auction and such. They don't much of that kind of stuff here.

Not much humidity either

, don't miss that.

I'm keeping my eyes open for the 747 and 'silver bullet' bators, haven't seen anything. Do you have a 'list' of tour stops yet?

. If you guy's keep it up, when we get our 727 airborne and flying around in our capes. I will jump out and let you guys try to fly the plane LOl LOL.

AL

This is starting to sound an awful lot like ConAir.... Al can be Nicholas Cage and Teach can be that sardonic guy that eats people....

Steve Buscemi! I love him! See, now we are getting into movie references I can follow that!

Glad to see some clarification on POOPs I thought we were all going to be outdoors. I was just going to bring a circular pen to keep the chics I'm bringing in, so now I will have to see if I have enough cages. Do you think the pen would still be acceptable if I brought enough cardboard to cover the floor? or would the KOA frown on that? Maybe I should just accept being the one kicked outside! Just let the pregnant lady in occasionally to go to the bathroom

Hopefully Buckguy will answer this but I believe the birds will be kept outside in a open area.

Well got my reservation for POOPS organized. Got it for both nights...so if Teach decides to "Preach it" I will be there...guitar case in hand. Hubby is in a reeeeaaalllyy bad mood..... hopefully he will get over it by then, or I'm leaving his hide at home.

The weather today is awesome....the wind is down quite a bit and I am presently watching the squeak famly motorvate all over... too cool.....should get some pics....

Love y'all...

Carla I have to say that those are the sweetest pictures I have seen in a long, long time. Ashlyn is gorgeous....

As long as they are enclosed and not running around your pen should be ok. The birds are supposed to be outside but we might have some chicks in boxes inside if it is cool. We will be inside and out. There is a covered porch on the south side which faces where the birds will be.

I will have my truck there and we can put cages and such in the bed of my truck if we need to. I have heaters to help keep them warm again if need be. I thought that if it was rainy and such I do have table cloths and tarps I can bring. 2 more days and we can SEE what they suggest the weather will be. Will play it by ear right now.

Anyone else getting excited YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had posted earlier this week about Lisa losing everything in the fire. I finally got to talk to her and she is doing well just overwhelmed.
Losing her German Shepherd was the hardest thing she said. Her horses, her pigs, a few turkeys and a few yard dogs survived. She lost all of her chickens including a bunch of just hatched chicks, and some cats.
They have insurance on the trailer and some on the contents but not enough to replace everything. She is getting some help from the Red Cross and FEMA.
For now she and her 13 year old daughter are in an extended stay hotel. Her husband is working a job in Tulsa so he will be going back there for work and will just be here on weekends.
As far as what folks can bring, she said she can use about anything as far as household goods, pots, pans, utinsels. They are getting clothes for now.
She said she is gonna replace a lot of stuff from garage sales because the insurance money won't be enough to replace everything new.
She said she didn't like asking for help and I told her she didn't ask that I was offfering.
So anyway I told her that folks here want to help if they can.
So I guess if you guys want to bring stuff when you come to POOPS you can but you certainly aren't ecpected to and I don't want POOPS to turn into something its not and everyone feel they have to bring stuff.
I don't know where she would put stuff right now anyway since she is in a motel.
I am just passing on info so if you ideas or questions let me know.

Monty... what about taking up an offering and buying her a Walmart card... then she can get whatever she needs....and retain the balance for use as she needs it.

I am definitely excited about POOPS! Really *praying* that the weather is warm like today and warmer at night than it has been, since we are tent camping. I thought about upgrading to a cabin, but with as many of us that are in my group, we'd have to get two....so we'll suck it up and freeze if we have to! Just ignore my appearance over the weekend as camping is never a good thing for the looks...hair all over the place, cold tent night sleeping..ugh.

I still haven't decided what to bring.....decisions, decisions. This shin-dig has really grown to a large group, hasn't it?

No chickies still...I'm giving up on them and doing an egg-topsy. The duckies are still moving around in the eggs, and they are due this coming weekend. I'll stop turning them tomorrow and kick the humidity up higher, if I can.

I usually am on here in the evenings into the night, but my laptop cord gave out again, so I have to run over to staples today and see if I can find a replacement. When I have to sit at the desktop I don't get on the puter as often....

American Idol tonight!!
