Deal!!!!! Just let it be something I want! ha ha

We're actually considering driving to the Chupps auction on Saturday morning and then driving to Cement. Is that crazy or what? Don't answer, I already know!

Stray - keep an eye on the squirts...it kills. If their little butts get pasty wipe them off and make sure they have clean stuff to stand on...cleanlyness is truely next to Godlyness in this instance!

Since some of them seem to be having problems, I'll ask the regular Qs:
1. Do you have a heat lamp on them - and a thermometer to make sure the temp in your brooder is about 90 degrees?

2. Are you feeding them chick starter only, or other things?

3. Not normal for a chick to sleep ALL the time. Does she ever run around? Is she eating and drinking?

4. What kind of litter do you have them on? Diarrhea is bad for peeps.

Teach - You're talking about that dark/sweet chili.......the only
kind....but you didn't mention the garlic salt......LOL

I'll remember to ask for a campsite.........way on down !!!!!!!

Gees, I can't imagine you guys having a fit already for
another POOPS.....guess it's the age/gray hair.....gees, we've
both still got "jet-lag".

Al..........you did get my PM didn't you????? And.....you don't
look nothin' like Klinger !!!!!!!! Hugs, guy.............

Have a good one !

Na-Na - you can't tell 'em everything! Keep 'em guessing and always coming back for more of yours!

Write down stuff that goes in the bator? What kind of nonsense is this! I like surprises like chicks running around all over the place! and not knowing when stuff is hatching and yup...that is lots more fun!!!

talking about strange smells and camping...when I was in high school I went on a camping expedition in CO with a church group. Nothing like cool mornings on the side of a mountain watching elk come down to a deep cold lake for a drink as a trout rises...truely makes you know that things were designed not chanced upon! Anyways...you need calories walking several miles a day with a pack and all that...you end up eating way to healthy. Ever notice what that health food will do to you? Well there we are...a bunch of high school boys in a tent...the game begins...young teach rips one out...you not only could smell it but taste and see it as well. To say the least the other guys were impressed and well chocking to death. A counselor comes by to see what the noise is all about...he only made it three feet from the tent before he was run off...about 10 seconds later we hear from the next tent about 10 ft away...What is that smell! Truely a memorable night...if only we had those camera phones that took video then

Oh my goodness, Henny, my prayers are definitely going to be lifted up for this mom and the family of those kiddos and daddy.

I lost my 15 yr old daughter in an auto accident in 2006 and my whole world crumbled in a day, BUT, I clung to Jesus because my life depended on it. Three years later, I have not loosened my grip and I can shout "Praise God and Hallelujah" because God is Faithful and Good all the time. I have the hope of seeing my daughter again someday soon, that is one big hug I am literally dying to get.

I pray that this momma, of the children and husband, finds strength and refuge in the Lord, Jesus. If she doesn't have a personal relationship with the Lord, than I am praying that God will place His most obedient servants in her path to console her and share the love of Christ with her. I know that the Lord will never leave or forsake her, so I know the prayers lifted by me and I am sure countless other will be heard by our Father. I have faith that God will get her through this tragedy.

Henny - I'm sooo sorry that you have been through, yet
another, "seemingly", impossible storm.

But, as I listened to you Sunday morning, it was obvious where
your heart and faith are.......

Love, Prayers, and Hugs,

Oceanseve-yea, just send the fridge on over, I've actually been looking for one.

You could do the hardware cloth in the bator to keep them separate but I have used those cardboard box dividers that keep bottles/cans separate; disposable, clean. To mark them after hatch I would use those adjustable aluminum bird leg bands with numbers on them. You can loosen them up as they grow and keep track of a large hatch on a computer spreadsheet or a notepad.

Stray-someone else might pipe in with more help on the chicks but you might try a little DE, it helps dry things up and is good for them.

1. yes, but I don't have the stupid thermometer... my dad forgot to pick one up....

2. I'm still feeding them what Teach let me borrow.

3. She does run, well walk, around and she does eat and drink, but other than that she's always just standing there nearly falling over.

4. I have pine shavings (That's what my dad bought, I wasn't with him so I don't know where he got it.), I put just enough to cover the bottom of the bucket, and I clean it out daily.
I hope I don't kill these poor things, My family and I will all be devistated.
