Monty I am looking for some that are a single row with holes that are big enough for lrg breed chickens, and are easy to reach in. I would like different hole choices from 3-6 holes if I can, and be big enough to fit in the bed of a truck.

City: it worked how does it look, now I need to pm the mod's for a title modification.
AL

You mean each hole for individual chickens for hauling. Kinda Like the boxes for show chickens or the ones they used to haul fighting roos in?

Monty :
The ones for hauling birds in, but with decent sized dividers or holes.

Is Rosie's rib over on Memorial still open? I used to love to eat there. A fancy place with BBQ. Also the Italian Inn and Mondo's before they built the new one. Also there used to be a little restaraunt on Sheriden where The Farm is or was.
One of my best friends works ar Garbe's. He's been there for years.

Rosie's Rib is gone - that was a great place. They put one of those restaurants where they throw rolls at you there - it's gone, too. The Italian Inn and Mondo's are both gone - I talked to the owner of Mondo's a couple of years ago and they were going to open a new restaurant, but I don't know if they did, or what they called it. The Farm is still there at 51st & Sheridan. Garbe's is still there - I like going in there and just looking at stuff.

Ya'll have been chatty this morning!!! I've been cleaning this morning, since I've been gone the last three weekends and too pooped during the week to do any real cleaning.

My stepson and one of his friends just drove down from Moore to spend the weekend with us. Company!

Would anyone be interested in a rat terrier mix dog.....she is about 7-8 months old...

Not doing anything outside today!! Too much rain and I hate getting wet! I'll probably have to trudge out there sometime today to check on the birds, but other than that, I'm in for the day....oh, well I do have to go to the grocery store since we have two 20 something boys in the house this weekend.

Hope you all have fun at the auction tonight....

OK... have decided to set up the bator today... went and got my thermometer/hygrometer today...It does not have a probe, but has a sensor on a string...does anyone know where I can get a water wiggler? I suppose it's like Toys R Us or something I can't get to. I went to Walmart and tried to describe it to some guys in the toy department...That did not go well... I felt like an idiot after... they were cracking up....

I was laying in bed last night realizing that hatching is a gift. Judging from what I have been reading on BYC... you either have it or you don't. People do everything perfect and have a krappy hatch and some people put a dang light in a cardboard box and hatch everything.

I have eggs coming, I spent all this money on a bator with all the acrutriments, and I was thinking...OMG...what if I have bad hatching juju? After all this drama...bad hatching juju? What could be worse?

We thought about going to Cement, but I am a wuss right now... too many wrecks... I am going to stay home and try to electrocute myself on the bator instead.

My nephew ended up not having appendicitis. They went in with a laparoscope and accidently perforated his bowel. He has diverticulosis... they ended up having to remove a couple feet of his intestine. They said it was really weird to see this in someone so young. But on the other hand, because of his youth they went with a bowel resection instead of a colostomy bag. I'm sure he will be relieved about that.... Jeez.... I was cracking up... his sister works at the hospital where he is, and she wanted to see his incision, and he freaked out!!! LOL. His appendix was up behind his liver and they said that was some kind of rarity as well. They are trying to control the infection now....

Oh well...guess that's all my news. Mike says that he feels let down after POOPS. He said that after being around such happy, friendly people it's like sad here now....

Al... your pic is awesome.....

Henny bad hatches are all part of it. you have no control over the treatment they get in shipping or the nutrition and health of the flock the eggs came from. Chances are your best hatches will come from your own flock's eggs.

On shipped eggs I consider it a success if one egg hatches because then I can introduce unrelated blood into my flock and perk them back up.

The longer you hatch the better you will get at it too because what works for me won't work for you and you will just have to discover what does in your area.

Do they still have a poultry show in the spring at Altus? I don't even remember which club put the show on but it was a nice one.

No, no spring poultry show, just a section at the Jackson County fair.... Thanks for the info nn.

We have had no rain... just a heavy drizzle. Hens are wet and stinky out grubbing... what dorks....

What no Rosie's? What is this world coming to? I have a lot of friends in Tulsa but I rarely get up that way anymore.
If you ever want to buy something at Garbe's let me know and I will see if I can get you a discount.
