It was a beautiful at 7:00 a.m. in Blackwell today...you know the kind of early morning sunshine with the long shadows, clear blue sky, green green fields of young wheat and soybeans - everything looks and feels so clean after the rain. Joy joy joy!! I am with a bunch of grumpy film crew night owls - I forget that not everyone is a morning person...I zip around singing and everyone else is crabby. But I don't care...la la la la la! I woke up alive again - thank you God!!

Then about 10:30 it clouded over again...ick...here comes more rain.

Monty - you are such a good person - thanks for the update on the $$ - can't think of any better cause. I'm sorry Lisa and her family and others are going through that.

Teach, I don't know why you think you won't have anything to do at the next POOPS...you'll be churning up peppermint ice cream if I get a vote!

I also am getting eggs now from my japs so might be bale to help you there as well...no not the little ones the other pair I have! They were about to get talked nasty about but i finally got an egg so they are back in good graces.

I do think I have a pair of silver seabrights that are being gold brickers! Anyone want a pair of worthless no good feed eating no egg laying birds? Stupid birds...paid top dollar for them as well...no wonder that ol' ...gentleman came down on price. I was raised to respect those older than me but I would really like to kick him in his shin!

City - I ain't worried about the next POOPS...I know I owe there! Naw it is a show at Talequaha (however you spell it!) that gets me worried! It isn't that I won't have stuff to do...it is I won't be coherent enough to pay attention! That is one of those long drives!

I forgot to tell you lies about my trip! Let's see...oh yes...I killed a zebra, moose, and a grizzly bear! We went fishing and caught hammerhead sharks, giant tuna, and halibut that looked like barn doors!...okay...not buying it...how about...didn't even take a gun...did load a couple hundred bullets...the boys went fushing with Uncle John and I stayed out of it. Kids need time with uncles w/o interference from dads. They haven't gotten to bound much and well...I like to give them their time. The uncle doens't understand it yet but will once he has kids!

It was a major boring family reunion thing! It was my mother-in-laws side of the family.

Anyways...there are a few I like. There were only three of us that came as spouses. One is a total nerd...one is to new to know better...and I am scared of my wife and like her folks! Plus...I like to see how the others are doing! Okay make fun of them! There is a cousin that I really like. He ain't real bright but works hard and is about as honest as the day is long. He commented on his sister's husband...he won't even come see us at Christmas now. I guess he doesn't want anything to do with us...I can't say what he said after that but I agreed!
