Chickensandmore Don - it is good to see you posting. I have missed you. Your runner ducks were a huge hit at the traveling animal show, today at the elementary school.

Teach, I thought of you when I was wondering why we were loading up all these wet fowl and taking them in the stock trailer to the elementary school this morning. I reminded myself "it is for the children who don't normally see fowl and rabbits." I also was reminded why I could never be a teacher.

Got any tips on how to give yourself shots? The pharmacist, who is also diabetic, gave me some good info, but didn't get to show me in person, so I guess I will play it by ear.

dad was down...not with diabetes, but I learned. Gees, that's
WAY too high....Please do "anything and everything" they tell
you to do !!!!!!!! Stimpy - you, too ! Practice on an orange....

OMG, I finally made it to the last page!! Woo hoo!

I about called 911 today to report a strange light in the sky.....then I realized it was the *SUN*...the sky is still clear blue outside and the sun is shining...too bad the ground is so saturated that a lawn mower would sink in the mud.....our grass is taller than knee high now.

dizzychickens...take a deep breath and exhale....you're going to do great taking care of yourself. Diabetes is such a life altering disease....but you can manage it! The insulin needles are soo tiny....
Do your best to make sure and take any scheduled insulin regularly, check your blood sugar regularly, especially when you are starting insulin or making any changes...you don't want to have it fall too low either...too high or too low are both not good...

Hopefully you'll be able to get it all under control easily and then manage it successfully.

Tomorrow is day 18...out of the turner they will come....I'm so anxious to see how many hatch!
