NNBreeder, this has two wafers, not an electronic one? Or am i hopelessly lost already? There a themometer on the side, this has been running for a while and its still only about 84 how long do these take to fire up or could it be the themometer is skrewy?

EDIT: I just checked the inside temp and its 81 and the humidity was 86% maybe that is a hydromter over there?

Al, Sunday is Mother's Day! Silly! We're doing a bbq that day too with ribs and steak....of course, that's cause the guys have to cook and that's all they are good at.

Look what me and the kiddo just found. 1 down 3 to go for the gal. We was real excited like. Bantam Cochin hen sittin on 4 Wyandotte hen x RIR rooster eggs. PnB this makes 3 incubators 2 1588s and the 1202.

Two wafers, that is an older unit. Close down all the vents and see if that makes the temp come up. It usually only takes ours a few minutes to heat up.

Is the red light on the side with the temp adjustments coming on?

Red light is off and on, i assume its like the 1588 and means the unit is regulating itselfs. I turned the nob to make the heat go up and the themometer on the side starting going up pretty fast, maybe this wafer just needs adjusting?

Sorry to break in... but, it has been awhile since I have been able to check in. It has been finals week and I have hit the books pretty hard. Last week we had lab finals and this week we had written finals. I did pretty good if I say so myself

A in Nutrition, A in Physiology, B in Sociology (I only tolerated that class it was horrible) and I am praying for a B in Chemistry.

I am taking the Summer off, YEAH!!! Then Nursing school clinicals start in August.. 18 more months to go.

Dial type themomter on side, hydromter inside of door. ive got a digital them/hydro inside the unit also. The wing nut on the main wafer was realy loose and 1/2 up the nob i tightened it down and tried adjusting ill wait to see what it settles at. I didnt notice till just now the 2 holes int ehback of the unit with covers, what are they for
? I appreciate your help, seriously!
