Prague auction is this weekend. i talked to a guy that works at Prague last week at Jones,
He said if you are looking for the best poultry you need to be there Friday morning before 8;00. It usually won't last til the auction.

Haven't tried it, but I read that you can take a cardboard tube (toilet tissue or paper towel tube cut off) and put your flashlight on one end of the tube and the egg on the other end of the tube, to candle the egg.

I have tried using a small LED flashlight held directly against the end of the egg, but the head on my flashlight is about as big around as a quarter and there is too much light coming out around the egg for it to work well on chicken eggs..... works pretty well on turkey eggs.

I am trying to figure out how to candle quail eggs
