Not really... I'm just one of the 'Mothery' type and I've been like this for years, That includes when I used to sit on the hay stacks watching the broody hens sit on multiple nests squished together for DAYS waiting for them to hatch and when they did I'd always try to get closer in admiration...

Monty - I usually forget and move them as they are hatching! When I remember I move them about day 16.

Let's see this summer...little league is up and running. I am gonna help my buddy as I can...I am takng a class...thursday nights 5:30-10:30

Gonna be going through the Dew! Week or so in Atlanta, GA for school stuff...redoing my classroom...redoing my cooker on wheels and the backyard one...fixing trailers...gotta fit in some fishing...redoing my chicken coop and pigeon areas...just a few things...

18 chicks moved and a bunch more trying to get out and see the world! How in the heck did I get more RIR bantams?!?! I thought I got rid of those a year ago!!! Silly me saw that nice little carton and it said bantams and what was I to do! You bunch of enablers!!! Oh wait don't want to scare off the newbies...you fine bunch of friends!

Are you any good with a welder or a grinder? How are your carpentry skills? Think the commute would work out for you? How about I just ask for thoughts on how many aquariums and what to put in them?

Welcome and join in with the rest of the poultry addicts on this site. It is fun to talk with folks who understand the uniqueness of Oklahoma weather and its effect on us.

There are several folks on here who raise guineas - I will have some hatching (hopefully) in a few weeks

Welcome to BYC. Yup just join right in. Isn't this Sat the Blanchard sale?

Those two Guineas the wife has are the best watchdogs ever. Even the Anatolians have come to depend on their watchful eyes.
