Kinda both the PO and the Hatchery... The Hatchery sent the chicks to the PO on SUNDAY and supposedly they sat at the Distribution center for two/three days before they shipped here... God I swear, Hatcherys and PO's can be sooooo stupid. It says on the box multiple times to 'Please Rush!'

Yes, but as dizzychicken said, I've heard that paypal is more interested in protecting the buyer, not the seller. I at least have the messages from the buyer that show they paid for 20 eggs, I sent 29 and 13 were broken ... so technically only 4 eggs should be in question.

I really don't know that the eggs in the picture are really my eggs. I asked the buyer to take a picture of all the eggs with my markings showing on them so that I could identify them, and they sent me a message saying I was calling them a liar. This person hasn't been very reasonable from the beginning. I'm trying to decide if I'll send them another message back telling them to go ahead with the paypal process or just not respond again. What do ya'll think?

It's kinda like the box-in drivers do to cause an accident, The one that hits the car in front of them is always at fault.... and the Post Offices get away with everything!

It totally sucks that this buyer is being such a SOB. If it were me I would not send any more messages. This person seems like they are trying to provoke you into saying something that could be used against you. Let PayPal handle. I would call Paypal and see what they say. This at least gives them a heads up on the situation.
Hope all will resolve out in the end.

She will probably notice, but since she is a nice lady she probably won't hurt you too badly.

Naww she'll never notice...

I don't really know Carla. It is plain to see that there is damage to the box so I would think that just that fact would be in your favor. After all if you hit something hard enough it will break. Do you ship eggs in a carton or just pack bubble wrap around the eggs and then pack them randomly in the box?

Stray sorry to hear about the loss of the chicks. I have gotten chicks many times on holidays with no problem at all.

I am getting some of the cutest bantam Leghorns that could ever be. There are two Leghorn hens, one NN hen and one Malay x NN in the pen with the rooster and all of them are white. The chicks range from a mousey grey to white when hatched and there are even a few buffs that have hatched. But as the feathers come in they are white. I'm hoping that the grey ones are a stay white type of coloration that you can't alter with corn nor will they get any brassiness in them from too much sun. We will see come Dec. and the Shawnee show!

Les I got 13 NN chicks out of my hatch. four are blue. I don't think any more eggs will hatch. I am on day 23 and all that hatched did so in the first two days after starting two days early. I'll give them one more day and see what happens.
Not a great hatch about 60 %.
I am ready to reload again. I ended up with 53 chicks in this hatch.
