I had a class all morning, when I got home and logged on, there was an email from Nifty the BYC administrator - congratulating me on the BYC pic of the week! If you get a chance click on it to see it big- it is of an LF RIR I got in February from Ideal. She was so cute!

LOL, Hard day at work, am bushed, got Dakota doing the chores, aren't kids great!!!

Feet hurt, wife had the day off so she is cooking supper,

38 out of 44 hatched out, not a bad hatch for me

Now i got a ton of fuzzy butts running around here and need to place them in homes lol. Ill take some over to the neighbors tommarow hen there good and dry and looking like fluffy chicks and not drowned rats.

Went out to the chicken coop and one of my broodie jap hens hatched out what appears to be 4 or 5 mutt chicks. She looked at me like she was evil so I left her alone for now. Will probably put her in with the chicks I just hatched once my husband puts the tin on the west side of the coop run. Gotta love those broodie hens.

Jeez... long day.... A fitness trainer from my church is friends with the girl I go with and she has picked me up as a charity case! It is awesome, but there is no shirking! She has helped me alot...just today. I have to do something nice for her... I told her I would do anything she said if she left me alone on the treadmill. My 2 miles is "My time"...crank up some worship or Red Dirt and don't bug me.

I let hennies out to boogie around last night and could not find them. They were not in any of theor ususal hang outs. I freaked out. I yelled, "HENNIES !" as loud as I could and all these little red combs and heads popped up in the wheat.... Dorks! Scared the bejeebers outta me. I have seen Bates combines and balers everywhere today, so I know they are comin' soon....

They say we might get storms...60% chance... why do they do that to storm junkies? Of course we will probably get them since I flooded all my beds to weed over the weekend.

Went to visit my ma and she is doing better....both of us had an emotional weekend for some reason. I hate it when I mention something we used to do and it makes her cry....

Thanks for the invite Monty! Do you guys have a big church or are ya short on sponsors? P&Bs, I would not want to cook for all those kiddos! That is really rough.... Mike got to break up a fight in the Tabernacle... that was cool. We had some gorgeous blonde girls in front of us that were wearing white gauze skirts and dark thongs....the boys thought THAT was better than worship... hated to ruin that for em...

Loved climbing that hill 3 times a day!!! I think they should have left the tabernacle the way it was.... builds character and sweats out hormones!

Evening - Dang...I am supposed to be off work! I have been busier than a one legged man at a um well a contest of sorts...

P&B - You are correct on the buttons they are tough...sorry to just be helping out...I give cornmeal to them as an easy source of energy...not great for growth but will give them energy to stay alive...electrolytes in the water...I only use a ten gallon aquarium for their brooder with a desk lamp inside...gotta be super careful with the water (they can't swim) I also do the boiled egg thing

Great baseball news! The boys won their first game! The oldest pitched all innings (5) he was wore out but did an awsome job. He whacked the ball and ran all the bases! (there might have been an error or two on it but I was told it was a homerun

) The youngest played short and did his share of whacking but kept pop flying it!
