Oh...I have a really sad story: I was on the road and my cell rang - it was Ideal Poultry calling to tell me they have Speckled Sussex now and did I want to order some. YES YES YES!!! But I can't...timing isn't working out for me to get peeps. So my grand plans to acquire the fabled, rare and precious Speckled Sussex are on hold again. The moral of this story is: IDEAL HAS SPECKLED SUSSEX!!

Peeps are a pain in the a$$ and high maintenance... there is never a good time for peeps....peeps will consume all your spare time and waking hours and ammo. Thats why I have 5 separate batches of peeps juggling around the house and coop and am considering throwing more in the bator...Peeps...who needs em...

My broody hatched 2 babies and is still sitting on one more egg!

I got one pic to post but the interenet is still down (yep I forgot to call)

I think my goat is going to make it! I have to do some reserch to figure out if this will be an ongoing problem that I have to deal with.....

One of the hens that was sick didn't make it..... I'm not sure what was wrong with her.

Supposed to be 103 here today...Sheesh...Pollack is back in sick bay. This time I have him in the garage so I can keep and eye on him, but he still has to deal with the heat. I have windows in my garage, thank heavens. I have already got most of my chores done....

My mom is coming over tonight for dinner. Please pray that it goes well. This will be her first time visiting since going to the rest home. I have told her that I have cleaned out her stuff and thrown alot of stuff away, but I am worried that when she really sees her room, she will get depressed. But she wants to see all the peeps and says she has been dying for my chicken enchiladas and some chocolate almond ice cream. So I am picking her up around 2:00 after I work out.

Well off to cook chicken and stuff....See y'all laterz
