Beth, I think Stimpy and Greybear want to have a formal dance as part of the entertainment. I'll guard the punch bowl.

Oh Did you mean these guys?

Ok I guess I'll follow up with if anyone wants to help us reserve the club house send me a PM. and I will give you the PayPAl address or my address. The money that is sent to help make the reservation will be refunded after P.O.O.P.S.
Koa has changed a few things in thier new policy so we need to get the deposit in as soon as possible.
Cabins are first come first serve so you might want to make reservations ASAP. You can do that through KOA East Campgrounds by going online or calling.

Also our theme song is POOPS: We Did It Again!

Hey I think I see a video deal in our future. Seems like there is someone I know that could produce it.
I am sure it would sell dozens!

Stray, I am sure there will be some folks there on Friday so there will be a little bit of meet and greet and maybe a weiner roast or cookout that Friday evening. I am not sure what will transpire on Sunday we will just see what our folks want to do.

This sounds wonderful! I'm new to BYC; reading it every day and learning a lot. OKC isn't that far away. I really want to attend, but I need more information so that I can sell my husband on the idea of spending a day or two with poultry people. He's a vegetarian software engineer, so he's still in shock about the chickens in the pen outside, and in the brooder, oh yeah... and the eggs in the incubator. Are there things to do for the tag-alongs (non-poultry attendees)? Do most people just come for the day, or do they camp out and leave on Sunday? Tell me more

Most people will be there on Saturday but last time several folks came on Friday and left on Sunday. Most of the main stuff will take place on Saturday.
There aren't that many cabins but there are campsites for RV's trailers and tents.
You ask some good questions. I hadn't thought about vegitarians but I am sure we can have some veggies and stuff there to enjoy.
As for non poultry stuff, there won't be a lot simply becasue that is where our focus is. But if you have an idea let us know.
There were some non poultry spouses there last time that had a good time and found stuff to do. We even drafted some as cooks and they will forever be known as our "Wingman" and "The Sausage King."

Just to clarify those of you who may not know, our static displays plan to include such things as. P&B's table on raising bees and Graces table on 4h, and a table on how to prepare chickens for a regional show, and of course Bill Bailey's infamous AI demonstration. The criticly acclaimed world famous BYC award winning AL-A-Bator will also be on display along with some other homemade Incubators.

These will be going on during the day as you browse the rows and rows of chickens.

For those of you who would like to set one up of your own please contact Marybeth (P&B) so she can add you to the list.
