Hi everyone as you know the fall P.O.O.P.S will be Sept. 26th. It has been decided that we would have a Pot luck lunch & dinner! We are looking for foods that are just as good cold as they are hot.

We will have limited outlets for crock pots if that is something you might be interested in. We will also have limited space to keep things cool between lunch and dinner, so if you bring something that needs to be kept cool make arrangements for that. For some folks that travel you could possibly have your ingredients made and put them together on site. Keep in mind the number of people that will be attending when making your dish or dishes.

We will also need paper goods, silverware & drinks. I have a couple of large igloo coolers that can be used for tea & kool-aid. If you have an one we could use let me know. I will need volunteers for set up before each meal along with volunteers for clean up after.

Please contact (PM) myself or TJ’s Nana if you have any questions or if you need a suggestion as to what you can bring. I will keep a running list of items.

LOL yeh I had me some fun with those BBQ wannabees they haven't posted back sceeeerd I guess LOL. Yea flashing a judges badge should send them runnin back to California hehehe. To be honest the Condo looked like a job site in progress wood and wire and building materials everywhere till I was finished. I need some more birds now all I have left are juviniles and a foursome of Light Brahmas and a few Barred Rocks and Marans, and don't forget the Terminators (Cornish).

The guineas that have been sitting on nests were successful in hatching some keets. One had 4 keets last night and this afternoon I saw two hens with a total of 19 keets between them. I "rescued" 12 of the 19 keets and put them in the brooder, since guineas hens are notorious for loosing their keets as they wander around. Of course, I don't have steller luck with keets in the brooder either, so I will have to see whether my success rate is any higher than that of the hens.

Al- pretty impressive condo you got there!! Can't believe anything got in there! Makes me even more scared for my girls now!!

Caught me a bullsnake a couple night ago. Thought eggs sounded good for dinner, I changed his mind. hehe
