Would it have been Kleeman Road here in Elgin... because we bought a house well it used to be 19 acres, but was portioned off prior to us getting it and we got the house and 4 acres and the folks had a GP named Sam that protected the sheep..
Yup! That would be it! We would have taken it all but they wouldn't budge on their price even a penny, probably because it hadn't been on the market very long. They also weren't dividing it up yet, either. It was all or nothin' at the time. Very nice house, and the outbuildings were great! Congratulations! Did you deal through Elgin Realty? Those are some nice folks.
Turned out for the best, though. We do so love our pond.
My black lab seems to be taking care of the varmint department, although she did have a big tailless cat (very big, so I think it was some sort of wild cat, otherwise she would have creamed it) cornered by the pond one night. I couldn't see it and when I distracted her it bolted off into the darkness. What with fumbling with my flashlight in the dark I didn't even get a shot off. That's when I bought the headlamp.
You are not kidding on the no budging on the price... we bought the house and 4 acres for 137,900 and they had sold the other part of the property to some folks way in the back... yep small world although I could have done without all the mess that was left when we bought the place.... but thats the past as we have now owned this place lil less than a year(year on the 19 of September)....
they went through Elgin Realty I had Johny Owens realty representing me because one of the deacons at our church was a realtor
Queen, your talented. I wish I could do something like that.
We are getting lots of rain here for me and NaNa. I bet our muskogee members are getting it as well.
Our daughters friend just brought over a coconut cream pie from the Amish cheese factory and it was delicous. It didnt last long at all I gurantee that.

So it sounds like it took them over a year to finally sell it after we made them the offer, then. So was the junk in the field? When we looked at the place all that junk was way on the backside of that 19 acres. I don't see how you could have ended up with it. We put in our offer that they would have to haul it off. Maybe that's why they wouldn't budge.

Well lets just say that there was plenty of lumber all over the place... found lots of immunization needles and wormers on the ground... THANK GOODNESS I had me boots on...almost stepped on one... and they gave the guy who bought the other property a 33 foot easment...
Made plenty of dump runs the past year... but again its the past and we are slowly working our way to making it look like our home
