LOL I go to the big library sale in OKC and do the same thing. I am running out of places to put them. The kids ask why I want them or need them. I asked them what they thought I did when I sat in the car waiting to pick them up or practice or at the doc's office. Of course they play on ipods/cell phones/games.....

Sorry Buster, to have ruffled your feathers. Was not my intent. To start a theological debate either. I don't care what religion anyone professes. But I have had it with watered-down salad bar Christianity. This ain't Burger King and people "Can't have it their way." Everyone has one foot on the rowboat and one on the dock. Apathy, and not just religious apathy either, has destroyed our country.

My last word on the subject...

Besides everyone knows if there is a god in Oklahoma, it's that Boone Pickens guy.... whoever he is.....

Ok so I got the preliminary report......AND........... LICE!!!! They said the little guy had 100 on him so that was the problem the louse were sucking her dry. So with 7dust in hand I shall go and dust away. This is not going to be easy since the wind has picked up quite a bit. I am thinking get them in the coop at night and go to town. Any suggestions?

wow andi, thanks for letting us know. I have had that happen the beginning of the summer and i put down DE and 7 dust and it seemed to help them just falling over dead.

I would go ahead and try it now on the more serious ones and the ones you can catch. Then wait till they are settled down tonight and maybe the wind will die down (who am I kidding) and then give it all you have. I am going to take the 7 dust out now and do where they like to dust bathe.

Oh by the way, I know silly question can humans or dogs and cats get poultry lice.

LOL henny I have no idea how to get it done otherwise. I do put it on the ground where they like to dust bath but I don't know that they all get it so better safe than sorry. I just wear my little mask that I wear when cleaning the coop........oh plus I don't have to contend with the wind!
