The kittens haven't been outside yet. The fathers of the black and white, and of the blue one are excellent mousers. Momma, not so much. They do practice mouser agility drills in the house though..... wink
yuckyuck I picture little kitties in BDUs (thems army camo clothes) rolling under barb-wire and low crawling and going over walls lau
Hey why is it when I quote, the smilies don't show up?

I gave up a long time ago. Speaking of Whataburger. That's where we always stopped to eat lunch when I was a kid. We always went down once a year to see my relatives in the big thicket of Texas. Rye, Texas.
It sounds like you need another silkie or spitz chick for a replacement. I'll be happy to give you another. Maybe we could meet at the Tuttle feed store tomorrow? Gerald and I have to be at work early for an "Employee Appreciation Day" at work where they torture us with speeches and then a free lunch. As soon as we can leave, we'll be heading to the feed store, then feed all the hundreds of hungry critters before we head out to Cache Oklahoma where THE TUTTLE TIGERS FOOTBALL TEAM will play Friday night.
Send me a pm with your ph # and I'll meet ya sometime Friday afternoon at the feed store with a replacement chickie of your (or Nick's) choice.

See you came up with your own excuse. just tell hubby that you are getting a "cat" to pull trailers around with.
I usually wait until hubby is at deer camp before acquiring any new "walk-up" cats. The last time I got cats (on purpose), my elderly neighbor and I went to the animal shelter together and adopted 4 cats. I knew my hubby wouldn't say much if the cats belonged to his favorite elderly neighbor.... even if she and I owned them jointly. If the cats would just stay off his truck, they wouldn't get into trouble with him.

I like the Casino idea too, seems easy and close, with plenty of room. But I could go with the flow if it's not to far out of the way, I will still have a hour drive just from The sale barn.
