Thanks for the good thoughts on Maddie! She is really bummed not getting to trick or treat. Guess i will be shopping for lots of candy when she feels better.

I thinnk i will get down to just two breeds to keep true and use the cross for my meat birds. I want to keep the three colors of cornish and use them to cross. I know I don't need that many but it isn't a question of need is it?

Howdy, will pop in and out while I watch the pokes play the short bus school...

Well, I am about out of my funk...kinda...mainly cuz I think I have talked my wife into letting me turn our garden into a open pen. I see ducks and a few pheasant and sorta free running chickens! I am gonna have some extra pens available though. I might actually get pictures done this time...don't hold y'all's breath.

Anyways...come Shawnee time I am only goign to be looking for a few very specific pigeon breeds...and I think the only birds I will be paying big money for will be Shamos and Maylas...them will be our only showing birds...We had some awsome ones and have a few eggs and chicks still but the ones ready for show are dead. Yet another year down the drain! but I am better...glad i am not near an auction...I was ready to unload...I will probably get rid of the japs that I have...

for the record...I ain't replacing my dog...will take a long while...and it will have to be the right dog...

I know what you mean about the dog. Had my dad's lab pass on me last Christmas and I still miss her like crazy. I have two other dogs but they aren't the same(kids dogs)
