Hey hey, happy lunch time everyone!

Sister woke up this morning and decided to try another doctor. Mom is with her, hopefully this is a sign of improvement. Thank you for all the prayers everyone.

You've got that right! I made it okay. Rather tired, but nothing some sleep wouldn't cure.

Q - my signature line has the phone number for the Department of Agriculture, to get your entire flock NPIP tested. If there isn't time to get that scheduled before the Shawnee show, I believe you can get just the show birds tested and get a certificate for just those birds. The tester will have to band them to show that they have been tested and will give you a certificate that describes the tested birds. I think the test results for individual birds is only valid for 3-6 months, if your entire flock isn't NPIP.

Saturday I went to see my friend in Kemp, TX, to see his new place, buy the digital sportsman incubator, and pick up a quad of mille fleur d'uccle (from a very nice exhibition line out of Texas). Saturday night, picked up more dead chickens...

Were the dead chickens some that were shipped to you?

No, those are in pens and, thankfully, they were too busy chasing free rangers to go after them.

Cuban - NOW I get it - you picked up chickens off the ground that had been killed by dogs. I thought you were saying that you "picked up dead chickens" that you had just purchased, thinking them to be live chickens when purchased and you were "picking them up" as in taking possession of them last Friday and Saturday.

Congrats! We are still working in that area.

It can be really frustrating! Hopefully something will come along to encourage ownership. I wish I knew for sure what it was for Caitlin.
