Oh Cammie, I just saw more of your posts: I'm glad you like the soy milk, I'd thought earlier you were kind of saying you didn't like, but you were only saying you hadn't tried it! Here's a little hint, my favorite is chocolate soy milk warmed up... it tastes like hot chocolate with added flavor

What ever happened with your new little red coop?

countyroad1330: A meat that I've not seen mentioned as a suggestion for your problem is domestic rabbit. Several years back, a dear friend developed Parkinson's Disease and was unable to keep much of anything down. He could however, eat and digest my rabbits, and ate it up until his death after 9 years of fighting that awful disease. Just a thought. Good luck; hope they soon find out what's causing your problem. oldbat

ke_ben - Sorry, didn't mean to be discussing your personal life on the board.

Grace - I've gotta try that! I thought it'd be be pretty good with chocolate in it. Clark says he likes the vanilla flavored kind, I might try it next.

I'm eating a delicious egg sandwhich right now and actually feeling much better. I think I will make the trip to my parents house to check on my chickens!

I'll PM you later for more info but the ER doc suggested a catscan after the HIDA? but her doc hasn't got to that yet, waiting on insurance to approve test. Soymilk eggnog? You know someone has already thought that up I'm sure.

Good lookin' birds Les. Hi Cuban.

HAHAHA! Mike always can tell if I'm stressed because I clean like crazy...He will come home, take one look at the house and ask, "What's wrong"? I actually feel so much better! Even with the head cold raging....

That crazy cold snap came and all my ladies held up!!! I went out and clipped some wings this afternoon...too many people going AWOL!!! I'm going to miss all the entertainment of watching them try to roost tonight, dang it!! Beer, peanuts a milk crate to sit on and that's an evening of fun!!! (Sounds like a Jeff Foxworthy...How to tell if you're a redneck) lol.

Cammie...dude...seriously... try the honey. What I liked best is now I want foods that are actually good for me. I'm on an SSRI and they make you crave sweets!!! I have gained 80 lbs. since I started taking it....on the other hand I haven't tried to kill myself in 13 years either...Mike says he would rather have me fat than dead... what a sweet hubby. Anyhow...I used to eat a ton of ice cream before bed...don't do that anymore....occasionally I will have a chocolate tizzy, but it's manageable. I don't crave carbs anymore. And I can't even begin to say what it's done for my sleep. That is critical for me...plus it probably helps all my other health problems that I get better rest and am not so edgy...another wonderful side effect of Ambien... makes me mean as a cobra sometimes. But I just can't go for days without sleep like I could in my teens and twenties....I hit forty and a brick wall. But I'm better!! One day at a time!!!

Hopefully I will continue to get better. I have prayed my tush off that I wouldn't just break down and be a hindrance to Mikey....

He takes good care of all us girls... hens included. I caught him out rescuing an AWOL hen hugging on her and whispering to her!!! Ha! Closet Hen Addict!!!

Isn't eggs and banana's suppose to be the 2 perfect foods??

Well......... I made it through the day of the ACT!
bun.gif

Since it was a residual ACT and the score will only be used at that school I found out my score to day. My comp improved by 10 pts. and my reading score by24 pts.

Science was good and Math and English could have been better but who uses algebra in real life and I can not speak grammatically correct (I talk OKIE

) so that was hard also. But ALL scores improved.
Okay.............. my first reading score was a 4 so there was only one direction to go from there!
roll.png
But I am so excited. It goes along way as to getting into the nursing program!!
All I have to say is what was I thinking when I got a 4 in reading!!
I am tickled about doing so well after taking the 2 tests 22 years apart.

You guys that have auctions near by are so lucky!!

Hope you have loads of fun tonight!!

I saw someone mention "chronic pancreatitis"... My DBF Jack suffers from this, and his daily meals have consisted of eggs with tomatoes and tortillas for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch - usually PB & J or turkey & mustard, and for supper: chicken breast, steak, pork chop or fish with rice and a green vegetable - his favorites are broccoli or asparagus. He also eats low-fat chocolate ice cream and chocolate yogurt from Braum's.

Me, on the other hand - I had MSG-laden frozen microwave dinner and Butterfinger ice cream for supper...

As for the "perfect foods," I think it is eggs, bananas and milk (I say raw whole milk).

NN those are really nice turkens. I may have to get some of those. Now that the maran has layed and the excitement is over I 'm ready to get rid of them and try something else. I like the dark eggs but its no bigger than my bantam ee eggs(I know she's only a pullet) , and only lays every other day,(which is good, keeps them darker) but the turkens lay everyday and are big eggs,Same amount of feed ,more eggs,no brainer!

Hey has any one heard from Okcarla? I need her address if anyone has it so I I can send her eggs to her. She hasn't been on in a day or two, hope Gerald isn't back sliding.

Remember those little bity round incubators they used to advertise(still do I think) They only held two or three eggs. Woder how many button quail eggs would fit in one. They are small marble size. Reckon they would hatch in one of those?
