Are they learning that the primary causes of extinction in poultry are dogs, raccoons, hawks and the US Postal Service?

Teach, you actually give good advice - except on how to keep track of hatch dates. I don't think you have much credibility on that topic.

P&B - the truth is what it is...we are headed out to hunt tomorrow and my wife asks...anything hatching...I said maybe! she rolled her eyes at me! IT was neat with the ducks running aorund in there! I am hoping for some eggs to bring back from Shawnee! Gotta love that hatching! Wanna try out my new accomodations!

true on the Koala...it isn't as endangered though...breeds better and folks started protecting the environment sooner...apparently the Panda is to far down the the road of destruction...small population leading to inbreeding and such...

Interesting stuff on the Polar Bear though! It may be moving into new ranges! Some evidence of them mating with grizzlies to prove it! Bigger debate on whether the ice caps are shrinking!

Figure out where the public land is would be the only thing I would know. Might try the dept of wildlife to see if they have a map or something showing public land.

You silly! Actually they are looking up...Japanese Sea LIon, Biji river dolphin, british wolf, glden lion tamarian, blue whale, etc.. Everyone has to do reasearch on the panda...cuz of that guy that proposed we were wasting our time trying to save a creature that ate one thing and lived in one place...he claims it has niched itself out of existance...

Hey... I resemble that remark!!!

I am considering staying home from Bible Study tonight...I want to take a shower and go to bed. I have no energy at all...You should have seen me plodding around the chicken run....what usually takes me an hour took me nearly two! Tomorrow I have to shop for Thanksgiving. A friend of Mike's from work has no family here so we are dragging him over here....I cannot imagine shopping!!! I just want to sleep.

Henny - get a wife! They are great. Mine is getting me jerky stuff, filters for fish tanks, yams, and yup...get a wife they are fun. Plus they keep you warm at night...as slong as they wear socks...why are women's feet so darn cold?

Sweet Henny - I vote you stay home and get some rest to help fend off that cold. If you had a sick chicken, you would pamper her so she could get well...wrap her up so she is warm, give her a little wine, let her nap, etc. Treat yourself at least as well as you do your birds!

Hey Sooner!!

It is a beautiful day, and I need to get outside and mow my front yard and wash my little dog. I picked two ripe tomatoes out of the garden this morning...there are lots of green ones but I was surprised that a couple finally turned red. I let the clucks out to run around in the back yard this morning, but there were a couple of hawks flying around so they had to go back into their run. I dumped a big bag of leaves in there so they'll have something to scratch around in.

Hey Y'all,

I'm back from the camping trip. I would say hunting trip, but I never strayed more than about 50 feet from the cabin and I didn't bother to take a gun.

I did see 2 pretty nice bucks tho, right behind my truck, Saturday morning.

Hiya Clucks. I can't believe you won't be at Shawnee. I'll miss your smilin' face.

Cammie, I was reading all the posts that I'd missed and I followed your ordeal. Man, that sucks on ice. I'm glad you're feeling better but hate that you had to go thru all that crap.

Does anyone else hear that music in my head?

Last year my uncle gave me a whole bag of green tomatoes, I let them ripen on the window seal.
