Kate sorry to hear about your birds I hate to hear it!! One of my Mutt roosters has some bad Frost bite on his comb is there anything that I need to do or will it do ok? The thing is that he is always in the coop at night not sure maybe he decided to camp out one night or something

Well I am gonna bring home as many birds that I feel like I need and my son has said that he wants some Old English or christmas and I am looking to get MY OWN chickens instead of buying them as mine and someone taking them over, I am seriously thinking of starting the NN everyone else in the family thinks they are ugly so I can have my own!!!

Sooner take a flashlight and look in the bird's mouth. Look for whitish or yellow sores and look as far down her throat as you can. Look for red string-like things.

The sores would indicate canker which is very common with pigeons and can be treated with a copper-sulfate solution.

The red things would be gape worm and you would need to get some Ivermek to clear them up.

I now have a barred rock frizzle naked neck

Cannot wait to see what it turns out to look like........ only one of her eggs hatch...only 3 others too. NO quail hatched........ like I need more.....I have 40 babies in the coop with my Guineas and big birds........decided to redo the old coop. I will surely need it this spring...

My DW is mad at me now!!! I just found out tonight that I only get a one day weekend this week and she has to wash birds on Sunday while I am at work I told her that I would do it on Friday and she said that she would do it but all you Guys know that means you better do it Saturday right???? We are only taking 7 birds to the show I ope at least one of my kids at least place!!! Hope everyone is having a great evening
