Morning, Early Birds!

I've got peeping from at least one egg in the incubator. OKCarla, it's probably one of the Brabanters. They developed faster than the Speckled Sussex I set in the same hatch. I think I'll have a few arrive before Wednesday, the expected hatch date.

One more day with students. We are required to give a lengthy semester exam (reviewed by administration last week for comprehensiveness), grade it, and then verify all other grades are entered and correct before 4:00 p.m. today. I've made a sign for my desk. It reads: Please do not ask for your grade. Come back at 4:00 if you must have an answer today. Right. I didn't think so...

For information/forms for the Pryor show, please e-mail [email protected]. He asks that you put "Poultry Show" in the subject line. Hope to see a lot of you there!

Looking forward to seeing Beth and Richard later this morning!

Disclaimer: welcome to a very helpful group of people, some of whom are addicted to hatching eggs, poultry auctions, and acquiring birds. Since addicts tend to be enablers, if you don't already have an addiction to poultry, some of us would like to help you acquire such an addiction.

So, tell us what kind of poultry you have and what you are looking for?

Artsyrobin - your greeting card of the guineas is absolutley wonderful. I have to admit that I am very partial to watching the antics of the guineas, even though all of mine are definately "touch me nots"

All that talk of Korean food made me hungry for the Korean House in Del City. However, J doesn't like Korean and I hate eating alone... and my 2nd ex-husband (we're pretty good friends) is deployed so he can't go eat with me.

*sigh*

Faerielady - If I weren't so broke - I'd eat Korean food with you! I love it! I work in downtown OKC. There is a little Thai resturant right behind my building that used to be really good. Sometimes I would walk in and the proprietor would grab my arm and drag me back to the kitchen to taste something - I loved being a guinea pig! They don't own the resturant anymore, and the food's not as good. I don't get much time to eat lunch this time of year, but now you've got me hungry for some good food!

I'm pretty broke right now too, so I totally understand

But it's a nice pipe dream...

And don't blame me! I just read last night's posts this morning, and THEY were the ones talking about Korean food! Of course, I like Thai food too

I cheated a little - I made some pork fried rice last night for dinner. I had some leftover pork roast from Sunday dinner. DH likes to have fried rice (with whatever meat) for breakfast the next morining, with fried eggs on top. He was so happy last night with what I made for dinner it was comical. (I hadn't made it in a while).
