Mornin AL, Stimpy, Sooner, Henny, NN Breeder, and everyone else that I may have missed!!! The temperature is still relatively warm here it is about 39 now, no wind just a light rain but they say its a comin, so I am all fixed up got the generators tested last night and they are good to go.

Al I am wishin that I was at home with my family instead of working but I had no choice I am suppose to be off all weekend but with this snow more than likely I will be at work for some pretty long hours.

And to my Okie Family Love you guys be safe and have a Very Merry Christmas!!!

Same to you Keith, I hope they let Lou go early, I didn't know she worked. The wind right now is the big problem, all of our vehicles have a high profile so they just sway all over the road when it's like this.

Well, I'm about 23 birds lighter (and so is my feed bill) after this weekend. I have nineteen chickens and four more turkeys in my freezer. Well, 17 chickens now, since we have already eaten two of them, a Dark Cornish and a RIR rooster, both a little over 20 weeks old. They were both incredibly delicious, but the Cornish was more tender and had the nicest texture to it.

We are now officially down to one breed of turkey... Bourbon Reds. In the freezer we have two Royal Palm turkeys (turkeys? about the size of two very large chickens?), a Narraganset, and a Bourbon Red who had hurt his leg and wasn't getting any better. Now I will be able to do my own taste test!

Tonight is my late night. The City in its infinite wisdom decided about two years ago a library staying open until 9:00 at night on Christmas Eve was a fantastic idea, even though we have yet to have anyone darken our doors after 5 the past two years except a couple of homeless people looking for a bathroom.

I refuse to make my staff work it, so I will be running the place by myself. Then I will get to drive home on what are sure to be icy roads at that later hour (they don't believe in closing the library during hazardous conditions, either).

So, Merry Christmas Eve everybody!

Talked to my boss, I'm out of here at 9. There's no reason for me to stay and I have the inclement weather leave built up anyway. I just had to *get here* in order to be able to pull that card and use it.

Hey everyone and Happy Christmas eve.

I am really loving this 30% chance of wind and freezing rain... ha ha ha.. see see anytime the % is less than 45 it will rain, snow, storm ect... anything above that it wont... so heres to me a real woman of Genius..
