My poor modern game banty sure hates this cold,I guess those long legs have poor circulation. He holds his feet up like a flamingo all the time. The one off the ground just shakes. I thought about giving him a coop with a heat pad wrapped around the roost! recon it would hurt him.?

Evidently something I posted last night, while it was not meant to offend, caused some problems today. At least that's my take on it after reading through all of today's posts. By the time I read through all the posts they had already been moderated & the text had been removed, so I'm not 100% for certain that I caused the problem as my posts from last night were not moderated, but at this point I will assume that I at a minimum played the primary roll in getting it all started. If someone would please PM me and fill me in on what exactly happened today with all the moderated posts I would appreciate it.

My apologies to anyone that I may have offended, I assure you this was not my intent. I will take a break from the thread in hopes that this will all pass & the thread will not suffer another loss of persons we all enjoy seeing here.

Good Evening Everyone!

Well sorry to hear we had trouble today, on the thread. Did not see what caused it but have a pretty good idea due to the responses that were not censored. The thing I like the most about this site and especially this thread is that wonderful people from diverse backgrounds can come together because a shared interest (POULTRY). Most of us would never had met or got to know each others, let alone become friends, because of our differences but this site has giving us the opportunity look beyond race, sex, religion, economics and culture to find common ground and expand the base of people we associate with.

I learned long ago not to take offense to what others who may live or believe differently may say, because I am very secure in my faith and value as a human being. If you live your life with the goal to be the best person you can be and to treat others in the most kind, compassionate and loving way, than your life is golden whatever your beliefs maybe.

Having said all this, now y'all get the mom talk. "You all better get along and play nice, YOU HEAR!!!"

I hate MIGRAINES... ARGGGG

They used to be easy to remedy... I get tunnel vision... go throw up and whola I was good... now they just drone on and on and seem worse and come more often... anybody get these blasted things.. mine didnt come about till after I had my son and I heard that women who have had epidurals while in delivery will have a higher chance of developing migraines ... I didnt have a epideral but they did give me something else called intrathecal... because we were losing austin and my body wasnt allowing me to delivery him and so they "stabbed me 3 times in the spine" and out he came... I wonder though if this could be related?

Anyhoot our chickens are doing well and adjusting still have the two roo's seperated until one of them decides to wave a white feather lol..

Well it has not been a good day at all!! I found out today that a very dear long time friend lost his son today to a brain tumor, I hope that his heart was in the right place and that he has made peace! He was a organ donor and they got all the organs that they could use and said that he would save 7-9 lives by tomorrow morning. So I ask this of you that will pray for his family he was 31. Thank You, Quenston
