I have had a migraine for a week now. It is why I spent all day Sunday in bed. I used to be able to get rid of them with a hot bath, but that doesn't help now. If you have any clues on a good remedy, let me know.
I also suffer from Migraines and have slight headache this evening, I am hoping doesn't turn into a migraine. I have suffered from them since I was a teenager. I used to take prescription then when I was a Senior in HS my doc had me start using Aleve (it had just recently came out), but had me take double the recommended amount on the bottle. It seemed to work for a few years maybe a little longer. But now if it has gotten so bad it won't work, and I take Excedrin for Migraine, it usually does the trick if I catch it fast enough. If not then I have to suffer through the pain and occasional vomiting. But I have to stay in a dark room with no light not even a computer, with a cool wet cloth over my eyes without moving. However, even recently about a month ago or so I had one where even my really soft pillow felt like it was the hardest rock on earth under my head. It made me dizzy and ill feeling and went and sit in the shower after drinking a couple glasses of water. In a way it felt better, but even the water was feeling like rocks hitting my head and then I the water I drank was not sitting well and you can imagine what happened next. I felt bad that whole day and couldn't seem to keep anything down. But the next day I just had a what I call a migraine hangover (not a migraine just the hangover from the migraine) and seemed to crave meat or protein. So even sometimes nothing seems to help and I can sympathize with your when you can't find that something that will make it feel better, short of hitting your head into a brick wall or with a hammer because I know there has been moments where I felt that would feel better, but kept my better judgment in check with the reality of it not helping. So for you migraine sufferers I hope you get to feeling better soon!
