LOL YOU MISUNDERSTAND. I WON'T SELL ALL OF THEM NO MATTER WHAT. I ORGINALLY WAS GOING TO SELL EGGS BUT THINGS HAVE CHANGED IN A SHORT TIME SO I REALLY HAVE MORE THAN I NEED. THE OTHER PLUS IS THAT I CAN HATCH AGAIN! LOL.

Renia is firing up another 'bator right now. I guess 2 is not enough. The SLW chicks are doing great. Thanks again.

Carl tries to sell my chicks all the time, I know that is what is suppose to happen but, but,... I get attached.... You otta see what happens when i find a grown chicken missing. Its not pretty he gets in trouble for at least a week.

I love the older, more traditional breeds. Renia ( Queen Peaches ) just out-and-out just loves chicks.

She had a buff orp that she called Pockets because she would carry it around in her pocket

while she tended to all of the others and it would stick its head out and watch like a Joey in a kangaroo pouch

J would just give me the cold shoulder and silent disapproval.

Those are easily ignored... especially since I am the one doing all the feeding/watering/etc.

I got all three my incubators going, even had Carl renovate them to hold an extra tray.... Im all set. But if I fill them, and I will, Im going to have to learn to sell them without pouting other wise the family will have to move to the chicken coop and the chickens wil have to have the house due to space requirements.

Some of us would enjoy living in the coop... As long as there are hens the roosters are happy and they really dont gripe, demand or worry as much.....

My lovely husband, Doc, Is getting addicted to this byc thing.... I can't even get on the computer unless he has work to do..I got up this morning and he was already on the darn thing...lol.....He needs to just go back to work, so I can get some rest and get on the computer.....
