The shavings that I get from TSC are much smaller then the shavings that I get from Wal-mart and cheaper also. But my larger chickens so not like the smallers stuff so I have to mix it 1/2 and 1/2with the wal-mart stuf, are you talking about the pine type mulch the TS has sometimes you have to ask TS for shavings my TS keeps it in their warehouse most of the time.

The job search is still going on I was hoping he would have made a decision by now but he has not it is funny because in some ways he is so shy and has only ever had 2 jobs, the thing I am worried about is the insurance how good and how much $$ we have been paying almost 5000 a year for ok but not great insurance. He is going to a couple more today after he gets off work. He has 3 definite but none that fill all our desires so we are getting as many as he can then deciding on which is the best.

Hey Okies, my hometown made the news again. Watch is tonight, maybe two events. All schools in Anadarko, Lawton, and Chickasha were on lock-down, a guy made a threat. I was working in a first grade classroom, they don't tell schools what's going on. It was... exciting. And last night there was a guy with a home-made bomb, that one turned out kinda funny. (No one was hurt.) My fiance worked a double shift working out that case.

Ever had anyone dump chicks on you? Say 'Oh, I bought chicks and put them in with yours, and I'm going to feed them your feed. But they're mine, you can't have them.'

Hey Country.......who dumped chicks? and I guess all worked out well with the threats.............it is so scarey these days for kids....... glad mine are all grown.but worry about when Emma starts school..maybe gamma will home school her

The icy crud didnt stop us here..we all put on 3 layers of clothes and I looked sorta like Elmor fudd with a fuzzy hate and boots.........was hysterical looking........but warm....we got in 4 hours of work on the pig pavillion

before our fingers wouldn't work anymore.back out there today.....

I don't know if she going to the show just that she joined BYC today and can't find our group.
She wants to take stuff to the auction tomorrow but when she went last week there was very little there and it only lasted a short while.

I had planned on morning.....but one of the horses here had surgery....now all plans have changed........

horse is fine....but I would REALLY BE PUSHING MY TIMING if I go now...so I am not going................egh I will pm you....I guess red raider gets more eggs than he thought......I so wanted to try for some moderns.......

Is anyone going to the Harrah auction tonight? I want to go ... but I have so much to do today and so little time! Hope to see some fellow BYC'rs there. I wanted to try to stop in at the show in Newcastle, too. I wonder when that ends today?

How was the Harrah auction, anyone? I think we're selling a roo at the Cement auction next weekend. He's a big Barred Rock boy, not crowing yet, let me know if anyone else wants him ahead of time.
