Yeah, I'm not sure what to do! We have a place we could stay in Duncan if we went Friday... but we had just planned on going Saturday morning....
I have your number (unless it's changed), but I can PM you my number if you don't have it.

Smfamf I'd agree with Grace its a roo. turkens are usually gentle so he proably just hasn't aggravated the other roos yet. Those dark shiny saddle and neck hackles generally mean a roo. Also the curved tail feathers.

Sounds like bad weather time again for you all. keep us posted. We are supposed to get it friday,of course by the time it gets here its about played out. Already cold here. I dubbed four roos yesterday, thought it was supposed to stay warm!Hope they do okay.

Grace: What time is the show?

Al: We want another Chickendale dance show

For Everyone Else: GOOD MORNING!! Take advantage of this sunny brisk day and get prepped for any weather we may have in the next couple of days.... Thank Goodness I am going into town today so I myself can practice what I preach.. ha ha ha

Like I said before........................Not on your life and no amount of begging will make that happen, Perhaps some other folks could step up for a change !!!!!! hint hint........... something tells me that nobody else will.........get the idea now. The same core group of folks continue to step up and work tirelessly on these events, I would roll over and croak if those that make ton's of suggestions ever stepped up to actually do anything !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regarding incubators and electrical outages...

I haven't started incubating yet as I want to keep stuff like that around spring time, but before I start I will be picking up a UPS for situations where the power goes out. An uninterruptible power supply should run something as small as a 'bator for many many hours before it runs out of juice. You can pick them up at Office Depot, Staples, Sam's, maybe even Walmart.

Morning Folks!

Well been keeping an eye on the weather and the predictions are literally changing every 30 minutes. We went to 40% rain starting Wednesday, with snow and sleet at 60% on Thursday and Friday, to 60% on Wednesday, 90% snow and rain on Thursday and 60% on Friday. This really bites!!!
I do not want to go through another freeze like last time. My back is killing me just thinking about it.

Oh well, hope everyone has a good week despite the weather. Have a great Okies!
