If he's not better when I get up, I'm taking him to see our vet. If need be, I'll beg my parents, or post-date a check for Friday (payday).

What really bothers me is that I put his flea medication on him 2 1/2 weeks ago, but when I shaved his belly tonight (he's got hair about 3 inches long or more depending on what time of year it is) he has fleas again. I have to shave a spot between his shoulderblades to put it on otherwise all the hair blocks it, but I'm afraid he may be getting anemic.

What kind of flea med did you use? I noticed a few years ago and tried it again this last year, that Frontline DOES NOT WORK. In fact, we ended up putting it on our cat every few weeks and could not get rid of them. My husband accidentally got the wrong kind, I use Advantage and it works great. When he got the Frontline all of a sudden we got fleas, I was bathing her and using a flea comb and couldn't get rid of them until I went back to the store and got Advantage two days later no more fleas. I love the ragdolls they are so pretty. Due to my allergies I have Siamese they are a little better on people with Cat allergies.

I stopped using frontline. I thought it was just the fact our dogs love water and was in the ponds all of the time. Vet said he only uses comfortis (spinosad) pills. So we bought them they were higher but they do work. Like he said along with the box, starts to kill fleas in 30 mins and it does. Once a month pill like a treat. Wish I knew about this a long time ago.

Ok, apparently I need a visit from the Clue Fairy. What does that mean?

Dad had a bad case of 'happy feet'. He never stayed in one place for long. He was an old Marine and he never lost his fondness for the seas. Went out for cigarettes once and mom got a letter from Anchorage, Alaska two weeks later. A month after that, she got a card from Hong Kong. He was gone about six months that time. You never knew when he'd come home, or how long he'd stay. He got around.

Ah. I see.

Proud to call Oklahoma my home and even prouder to be an Oklahoma State University Cowboy '92!!!
I have been raising chickens and various other birds for the past 38 years and now have nothing but large and bantam cochins as well as toulouse geese (gray and buff).
Have been all over the U.S. and there is no place where the people are friendlier and the land is more beautiful than in Oklahoma!

Take out the air filter and squirt in some "starter fluid". Ours is a booger and does the same thing every time.

I've got 37 eggs in the incubator and one 12 oz. serama gone broody. If I can't get my generator going, she's REALLY going to have to spread out!
