I'm headed to bed now. The kids may be out of school tomorrow, but I still have to go to work. I guess I'll have to leave a bit earlier thatn usual, which means I gotta get up a bit earlier, and that means going to bed a bit earlier.

I am teaching tomorrow! Not real sure what...but I am teaching. Guess i should have graded papers...but...I really needed that nap. Monty got stuck! BAck home when you got stuck (it was in the mud) they would make pig noises on the radio...the big boss guy got stuck and well the pig noises went on for like hours!

Welcome new person! Harrah...we had a teacher from there...cute...she left...did I mention she was cute...boys paid lots of attention in her class...I thought about wearingoufits like her...on like one leg

Honestly I am in here to learn more than to speak, I love new Ideas on the building end of farms. I used to build big houses and well since the housing market fell off the earth, I decided i better get with the program, I was once told there are 2 things in this world that will always be in need, food and shelter, boy we have all come accustom to those. Well now i am starting to grow food and build shelters,and most important having the time to teach my children. so I am going to fade back into corner listen and learn, if you see me on and wish to speak by all means send out a shout. Nope only us old folks are allowed to lurk, mainly cause we fall asleep at the keyboard. LOL

Without conversating how are you going to learn? No matter how small it seems to you if you have a question or concern go ahead and ask. Many of us here started with birds in a time when it was tough to find info on chickens unless you had a few hundred thousand of them!

Early one morning I was coming across Az. on I-40 and as I passed through Flagstaff the DJ on the radio said. " Get up kids the schools are open, after all only a foot of snow fell last night. Not enough to close school!"

I must be a glutton for punishment. There's dough rising for cinnamon rolls. I've had a desire for them for 3 days, and the bread machine broke. Guess I get to figure out if I can actually make these things by hand...

HooDoo, Glad you are a part of us. It has been a little slow this weekend because some of our main folks have no electricity.
This thread usually moves at a good clip. Sometimes about chickens, sometimes not. You should visit with Buster52, you guys have some common interests.
I am your neighbor by the way, well sort of. I live south of Choctaw and just west of Newalla. Technically I am probably in Newalla, I just don't know what the boundaries of Newalla are.
