I warmed the oven before I stuck it in to rise... so most likely it wasn't too warm. I have a bad habit of not kneading the dough enough. I get bored/impatient, and I don't own any kind of mixer.

Good morning all. I'm trying to getready for work, but my body says it is too early. That's what I get for having 4 days off and sleeping in. I get to drive DH's pickup today. It is a pain in the you know where to park that huge thing in our little bitty parking lot, but it is safer to drive than my little car. It has 4-wheel drive whereas my car doesn't and it tends to handle the ice better. Well I'll try to check in later. Wish me luck, I don't have much experience driving on ice.

Well I guess I have to go back to work today. I dreamed last night that I got in trouble at work

I hope not, I really like my new boss. The previous one I wouldn't have cared one way or the other.

Shaun is bummed that he has to go to school to!

John just brought home a baby goat that was born last night at a friends house. It is weak,

I guess we will try it nurse it back. I hope it does well, John is taking it to work with him so he can work with it through out the day.

We apparently have ice dams under the shingles because the roof is leaking in places it has never leaked before. Hubby is NOT a happy camper and I am not sure we have enough window weights to put down to get the wooden parque floor to return to its prior unwarped position.
