Blanchard and Maud have larger livestock as well but primarily chickens. And the chickens start at different times. You arent that far from us. We are off of 149th near Harrah Newalla in Bethel Acres.

Hi hoodoo-chicken-man

Welcome to the Okies thread

I'm not familiar with what hoodoo means, so I looked it up .... wikipedia says hoodoo is African-American traditional folk magic. Just curious.

yup im in between dobbs and luther off 104th and harah & newalla rd. yeah I am only allowed to buy goats and chickens from now on.....Know anyone willing to trade a good boer buck ready for use fro 2 wether boers......I need a buck for my does who will be ready for the act of producing offspring in march. so if anyone know someone or you are that some one please let me know.

Matt and Barnswallow ya'll need to get some anti-biotics in those birds.

I would first do injectable Tylan-50, a 1/4cc for bantams and small birds and 1/2cc for standards twice daily. Use about a 22ga needle 3/4 of an inch long and give on the left side of the breast. Go in on an angle, inject and cover the site with your finger for a few seconds to keep from leaking,

There should be improvement on the second day, if not the drug needs to be swapped to something else like LS-50. If improvement is shown then continue treatment for a full four days after symptoms disappear.

you might want to ask Neecy(slightly cracked) as i know she has goats and shows them she might be able to tell you where you can get one!

Blanchard Auction and Maud Auction have goats. Maud usually has quiet a few every Thursday starting at 7pm. I dont know about the time or how many Blanchard has. I know the next one will be Feb 13, and I think they start at 2pm for goats, and then they start at 5pm for poultry and rabbits.
