Okies in the BYC The Original

Between you guys making me smile and the cherry pie that the neighbor made me, I think I will be fine tonight.

We decided yesterday to get him into a nursing home. My DH went to pick him up to take him to the doctor today and found him. It appears as though he was getting ready to go and had a heart atatck or something.

We just got home and put the kids to bed. They want to go to school tomorrow and I am fine with that, if it is what they want. We have to go to the funeral home first thing in the morning. His body is going to OKC to be autopsied and he will be cremated afterwards.

I thought women were her to hang pretty things off of? That is what an ol' girl friend told me...that is why she is not a wife! Now I did have a roomy that said women were supposed to well...let's just say i am fairly certain he is still single...

Shavon - good for you! Let the kids do what they feel is right! Folks need to deal with their emotions differently. Regular schedules are great for kids when dealing with stress. Now...about this cherry pie...full crust or one of those criss-cross chair bottom kinds?

I agree with letting people deal in their own way. That is why we spent all evening cleaning his house. It is what DH wanted to do, so we did it.

The pie has a cake-like crust on top and bottom. It is in a huge casserole dish, and it is all mine. I'm the only one here that likes cherry!
