Bring some...I have a minor breeding thing going and well...I really do want to eat some and at $2-3 i could eat that!

Let us know if they taste like "chicken" or more like a rabbit or squirrel. I have to admit that I am curious.

Yeah I knew they were very self sufficient raising their own food and all, but I had never heard of eating Guinea pigs. Ummmmm wow, ok I can take it. In fact, if it was probably handed to me to try I would eat it. Hmmmmmm, I have eaten some weird foods (pig feet, chicken feet, pig/cow intestines, frog legs, snake and fish eyeballs). So I think I can except this too. I was just not expecting this kind of answer. Well, are any of the ones they sell cute? I may want one or two for pets only.

You know I take it back, I have heard of it as a fried/roasted pig on a stick type thing. I have seen it on the food network in either South American countries or for food somewhere else. It just took me a minute to remember. I don't think I even blinked an eye when watching it on tv, but seeing it in typing I guess it just see hit me.

Yeah they have all colors of them. I like the abssynian type, they have the curls and cowlicks, and they also have the smooth haired. I like the calico colors better but they come in solids and brokens both. I usually get some in the spring and put them in a tractor on the ground and let them raise till fall and then sell them and all they have raised. They love grass and only need a little rabbit pellets and do great. The pet store s here sell them for $28-$30 each,I sell on craigslist for a lot less and do well with them.

Yeah...I like the calico cowlick types myself. If you are gonna make it to the big party i will shoot you some $$$ cuz i want some! I don't have mice or rats anymore...need a rodent...and I ain't gonna eat rat...unless there ain't anything else

Well I suppose just about everyone has gone to bed. I am kicking myself in the rear for being short tempered. Yesterday my modem was having fits, so I gave it an attitude adjustment. Well, needless to say, it no longer works. I have to wait until next Tuesday for a new one. Being without internet has freed up a lot of my time. I managed to help Jordan with his Social Studies project today. We made a castle. it is 2x3 foot and stands about a foot tall, complete with moat. I will try to get some photos to show you guys when we are completely finished. I made a headband for Lauren. She wants to go to school as "Daisy Head Maisy" tomorrow. It is Dr. Seuss week at school and tomorrow is "dress up as a character" day. I will continue to check in via phone or office computer this week. As for now, I'm headed to bed.

So are they dark meat like a Guinea or white meat like pork?

Okay, so I'm lying in bed trying to fall asleep, out of nowhere I hear this knocking sound. I just think it is the dog scratching in her bed. Oh no . . . my neighbors decided to put up a privacy fence at 11:30 at night. I'd understand if they were repairing a fence to contain an animal, but it is a new fence!

Oh come on now. I saw a man throw a rat between two pieces of bread and eat them, or was that just Kevin Costner in 'Dancing with Wolves' LOL. He's hot even eating rat between two pieces of bread.
