Way to go! How long do button quail take to hatch? I think you told me once, but I forgot. I put some button eggs in the incubator on the 20th. I really want to move them to the hatcher when the time is right.

16 days! They are fast...what Ilike is if you put buttons, cotournix, and chickens all in the same day...the buttons hatch to tell you to move the cotournix they hatch to tellyou to move the chickens...and if you keep filling the bator this is a nver ending cycle

This is funny. I was typing you a question about the hatch times for button quail as you were typing me a question about the kindle time on rabbits.

Put the nest box, packed full of clean straw or hay, in the cage with the doe at day 27 after exposure. She should kindle at day 30-32. You will know that she is getting close when she starts chewing the straw/hay into pieces about 4 inches long and carrying it around in her mouth - so it looks like she has "whiskers" She will likely also start pulling fur and placing it in the nest that she makes in a hole she hollows out in the back of the nest box - sometimes a day or two before she kindles, sometimes minutes before she kindles and sometimes not until after she kindles.

So basically, when you have hatched button quail rolling around in the bottom of the incubator like little fluffy balls of popcorn, it is time to start moving the rest of the eggs in that batch to the hatcher.

Teach 30 days and put the box in on 28. You can do a rebreed check in two weeks, she'll fight the buck if she is bred,by third week you should be able to palpatate her and feel the babys.

Chuck maybe it would be better to use the old saying,Asking forgiveness is easier that asking permission!

You have really had a string of bad luck with everything. Do they have written rules regarding mobile homes? If so, you need to get a copy and be sure you are following the requirements. I am not an expert on real estate law however - is there an experienced realtor that could give you some advice?
